Thank you for helping me with tips on how to make the grids disappear and
adding edges to the cube.  I'll make sure to try the suggestions tomorrow.

panel (second tab in bottom right of screen) and
click on the grids to turn them on or off. This is also where you can add
reference images
on each plane.

I'm not sure what you mean by edges on the cube, but here are 3 methods. Try
them both,
one of them should work for you.

1- When you create the cube, before clicking Enter or Validate, go to the Tool
properties
panel and increase the tesselation.

2+3- If you have a simple cube (6 untesselated facets), chose the Edge
selection tool,
select all, then choose the "Extract Edge along edge"(2) or "Extrat fillet"(3)
tool, and click
and drag an edge until you're happy with the result.

It should take you 30-60 seconds to do all 3 tests, so it's easier to let you
try all 3 than
trying to explain the difference between the 3.

the manual,
I'm creating a box model of a male head to practice the techniques I'm learning
.  I didn't
find it in the manual yet, but is there a way to create an edge in all
adjacesent faces of a
cube, instead of having to add edges to each of the faces of the cube manually.
 Is there
also a way to make the vertical grid disappear?  I find the vertical grid to be
very
distracting.  Thank you.
