Back Bonjour Antoine,
I was recently wondering what happened to you since leaving Eovia and I worried that Carrara development might have suffered from your departure. Then CS5 was announced and put all my fears to rest. If it's not confidential, please tell us more about your startup.
Here is my preferences in the order I'd like to see them appear. Of course, development time may dictate which one is easier to achieve. I've done my first red/blue stereo animation about 12 years ago in Macromind 3D using 2 cameras and combining the renders with Photoshop's operations (that was before layers). i think it would be relatively simple to make a plug-in that automates this task.
1 - Boolean renderer/shader 2- Physically correct glass shader 3 - Anaglyph (red/blue stereo) 4 - Lenticular Array renderer Q: Does this require a lenticular film to be placed on the screen or on the print? 5 - AutoStereograms renderer
Isn't there another solution that uses polarizing filters at different angles for each eye? I think that's the method used for the Muppets 3D show at Disneyworld (amongst others). It preserves the color much better than red/blue glasses. Eric
