i'm an advocate of using

with my safari browser, i have a quick link up in the title bar, by
clicking it from the page i want an easier URL of, i simply...
click...
then copy paste the new, shorter URL to where it needs to be.
ym/kmv and i'm assuming there is a comparable feature in yboc...
