Wow, Philip, I didn't know about this. I just recently upgraded to
QT7Pro. So if I am not mistaken, it sounds like in order to upgrade
to QT8Pro, it may cost the same price as the previous full version
(based on the accounts that I have now just read from the Apple site)?
Hmmm, doesn't really seem like the best way to thank their current
users for being a loyal customer base. Oh, well. Perhaps I may go
and use the one that Frank recommended when I it comes time to upgrade:

Although it may lack certain bells and whistles of QTPro, I am hoping
at least that they will keep thcodecs, etc. up-to-date. And being
freeware, you can't beat the price. :)
