yes, same happened to me, well almost./ At first look I downloaded the
big thing that includes iTunes. I didn't install it. Looked again and
finally saw there's a link for the standalone installer of just
Quicktime 7.
Now I'm able to see those new posted animations that use the new
H.246 codec or whatever that number was
Of course I'm also gonna have to renew my Quicktime Pro license. Not
nice of Apple IMO that they don't provide a discounted path for upgrading.
