I use PC stuff.  But there shouldn't be any problems setting up the
rendering farm with one other machine through a wireless connection.
I've heard that through wireless, it is a little slower to start up
(especially if you have alot of bitmap textures) but doable.  

However rendering is done on both machines.  So, you will probablly
have to slow down your working while you render.  You also have to get
into the habit of saving your files and rendering in batch mode in
order to use the other computer.
