Back I personally feel that the DIVX AVI-based codec gives the most bang for the buck. I've shrunken down 200 Megs to a little bit over 1 Meg without apparent quality loss. I have yet to see the three that you have mentioned yield files just as small, and still yield the same quality. BTW, the DIVX codec player is free and you can get a free trial of the DIVX encoder. But for $19.99, it is well worth it.
