Hi All - Hope someone can help me with this probably irritating newbie question
. I've
recently given up working in my old copy of Infini D and upgraded to Carrara 4
Pro which
on the whole I'm loving. However I have a problem with an animation project I'm
working
on. I need to use a quicktime movie as a reference for motion in Carrera 4. In
Infini D this
is simple - just edit the environment and set the background as the quicktime
and its
visible in all shading modes in camera view. I can then move my objects aroud
and match
them frame by frame to the quicktime. Once I've tracked the motion I can then
delete the
background. After struggling in Carrara it looks to me like I can only view a
quicktime
background when raytracing a camera view which is going to make positioning my
objects
nigh on impossible. I am missing something here?
