Back
to remove the modefier you select/highlight the tab bar of the modefier
than hit the minus and it will be gone.

After applying a modifier (thus far in any version of Carrara), the
minus
sign, which I take to mean to remove the modifier, does nothing. Is
that
correct - or is there some thing else I should do before the minus sign
is
selectable/workable? At last go through, I had my undo-s set high
enough to
undo through to the adding of the modifier.
If it's a bug, has it been addressed in C5/C5Pro?
