Hexagon questions having issues

Hexagon questions having issues

Your doing better then I am I press the close button and nothing happens.
The button will press but no controls open up in the left box and no red
outline of the open area.  I'm running under XP.

I agree with your observation that it is weird how it works.  Sometimes it
works as expected but other times it just sits there, kind of like a
stubborn donkey.  You have to keep playing with it till it decides to do
something.  I'll try the lighting bolt.

This was simple to test... and I got different results on Mac and
Windows.  On the Mac, a close (click All to close the hole) gives me
an immediate "Internal Error" popup.  This has been consistent so far.
 (Mac OS X 10.4)

On Windows (XP Home SP2), I successfully closed the hole in 3 out of 4
trials.  I got the internal error once.  (On both machines, the close
appeared to work - but Hex wasn't happy about it afterwards.  :)

Note that you either have to click the "A" for closing all holes, or
click on the hilighted opening (the boundary turns red), then hit
return to close the selected opening once you're in the close tool.

Yep, it's weird sometimes.  It seems to be better in 1.2 than in 1.01,
though.  Sometimes clicking on the "Clear All Selections" lightning bolt
 helps.
