Back The thing is that it makes it so much easier if you want to edit your model in the new Vertex Modeler in C5Pro. It is over all much easier to work with this way sense in Carrara you can have just be smooth at the final render or smooth while you are working with it. But if you bring it in all smooth than you have less control over the editing.

Just keep the smoothing angle down on import and use .obj or if bringing in as a .car then yes, smooth it in the VM. Also merge duplicate points and all that too on the import dialogue. Steve
