Carrara doesn't support a scripting language, yet. At least, it
hasn't supported it in C4P nor in the C5 Beta. It's been on a number
of our wishlists...
Eovia does support their software and is readily available to get in
contact with. Most of the Eovia staff reads this forum as well as the
one in www.eovia3d.net. The community isn't as big as some of the
other 3D applications, but is helpful and good-natured.
Be careful that the ebay purchase isn't a used academic version. The
license on those is only transferable to other students and isn't
meant for upgrading or paid-for production work. Bob from Eovia will
speak up here if their is any specific conditions that needs to be met
(he always does when this topic pops up).
Purplus.com sells C3 and below. They sell fully licensed, un-used box
versions; so that is a good option if want a cheap price and don't
mind not getting the newest and best of the Carrara line-up.
