My Dream is coming true...

Brian that looks promising, but I'm always a skeptic when it comes to free
stuff and maybe that's just from old physics classes. Aside from not being
able to save as .obj yet, how is it the "pinnacle of premade customizeable
human
creation" in your opinion? Is it simple, flexible, complicated? What are
some of the strengths and weaknesses and how does it compare to Poser or Daz
studio in your estimation? Not looking for an essay or anything, just some
more of your thoughts.

Thanks for always keeping an eye out for all of these things out there.

Steven

No offense to the many Poser users on the list, but I've always disliked
Poser. The concept is a good one. But its models never have been up to par
in my eyes. But the release of the new MakeHuman could be my dream come
true. http://www.makehuman.org

This software is to me the pinnacle of premade customizeable human
creation. When joints are bent the muscle realistically deform
automatically. MakeHuman used to be a plugin for Blender but it is now a
standalone piece of software. And coming Nov 20 will allow .obj export so
the models could then be used in Carrara. Plugin developers might be
interested in developing intergrate with Carrara. So the models could be
exported completely rigged with MH morph targets loading in.
