Bob,
I don't have a problem with the way it's set up now, since it lets folks decide
whether they want a printed manual. Those who want it can order it, while those
who won't use it don't have to pay for it.
I have one question, though. If I don't order the printed manual from Eovia, am
I allowed to have the PDF printed out myself? With Hexagon that was the method
for getting a printed manual. I got mine printed as spiral bound, which I much
prefer to perfect bound. If we're allowed to print a copy of the PDF manual for
our own use, I'll go that route again; if not, I'll be buying the printed
manual when I upgrade to CS5. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

So I'll take this as 1 vote for us raising the price of the upgrade back to
$199 and including the manual in the box (rather than having the price
lowered by $30 and giving the option to add the manual for an additional
$20).
Anyone else want to vote for this option?

Actually I don't have a choice. If I want to relax and read the
manual, I am forced to have to print out the PDF. I'm certainly not
going to squint at a computer screen to read it. Therefore, I am
forced to fork out an extra ?20 for something that should be included
with the physical version.
Hence, there is no choice.
We'll just have to agree to disagree on this.
