Back Good question. I don't know yet. I'll try it out and see what I can do with it, however, I doubt that I can use a DIVX compressed avi file in it. I suspect the filesize isn't going to be pretty whatever the results...
Flash MX 2004 has an optional video pak and the latest Flash (8, maybe?) has it built in. It converts the files actually in the Flash compression (which now includes it's own flash codec to keep things on the smaller size.)
There is an program from SwishZone that allows you to convert video files into that sort of flash file. It's 50 dollars or so, if I remember correctly. I don't have that program from them.
Flash 5 supported the embedding of Quicktime Movies, but not AVIs.
