Hm, I went to search on Purplus but couldn't find anything interesting
for Flash authoring. My bad.

There are a few other tools, like Flix, and similar. Or WildFX at
www.wildform.com ?

Oh, and today I found Xtivity, at www.tivity.com - and there's a 50%
discount good for 2 more days it seems. Normally $399, only $199
through Oct 31 ?

Now that seems to be a serious contender for a thorough Flash
authoring tool. They seem to position Xtivity as an alternate tool to
create Flash content, pretty complete at first look. But then I'm no
Flash expert.

Anyone have feedback on Xtivity? how it compares to the real thing?

Claudia, I was curious, what is it that makes you want to get your
hands on Macromdeia Flash 4 specifically, what tool or feature can't
you find in later more recent versions?
