Not totally off topic, IMHO, since Carrara also saved to .swf and many
Carrara users also publish to the web in one form or another
(including avi or quicktime movies inside Flash MX)

Oh, and I ssume you mean the Flash authoring tool from Macromedia,
right? Because there are other tools that produce .swf output). Like
FireStarter from the software branch at bluedomino webhosting(I'm
drawing a blank) - it's made for creating banners and ad pieces mostly.


Purplus comes to mind because he specializes in buying inventory of
discontinued, older versions of software and resells that while it
lasts, usually at really low cost. That said I don't know if he lso
has a Flash tool
