Back I'm with you. I like what poser does with the "cloth", draping etc, but I'm not so sure I like how it does it and the dynamic hair, while I'm sure is real cool when you finally get used to it is still a pain to manage as far as I'm concerned. (I have poser 5 and do my best to stay away from it) I don't care what's "best", only that its efficient, capable and very good. This allows the chore of doing a whole ton of different stuff, modeling, texturing, animating, setting up a scene quickly and then finally rendering to remain within reach of one person on a limited time budget and one application or small suite. I think the Carrara/Hexagon combo will accomplish much of this sooner and maybe all of this later.
I'm still unclear as to the future relationship with Daz,. But maybe there are possibilities there down the road too. Who knows, all I know is that I am very, very pleased with Hexagon and C4-P combo and looking forward to the new features in C5.
Hindsight being 20/20 it would not surprise me to suppose Eovia wished they had gone on their own way earlier instead of messing around developing transposer and all that to begin with, but I guess demand made that a necessary evil.
I am disappointed there had to be an SDK issue, I don't think it is going to hurt Eovia as in the long run it's best, I'd be happier getting it all done in one place anyway and don't mind waiting, it just provides more time to work on the other skills and be ready for better things.

Andi, Thanks! I was hoping that was the case. This should help to make CS much better for working with Poser content!
Steve, I'm hoping that dynamic cloth makes it into CS very soon. I really like the effects you can get with dynamic cloth. I like working with it, and making dynamic clothing. Now that we have the ability to use Poser content in CS5, I'm betting that Eric will do some tweaking to make Anything Grows a better solution for dynamic hair (hint, hint).
It would be so nice to be able to do everything with CS, or CS and Hex, and not have to depend on eFrontier and Poser.
