Back You're right, its clunky and I don't much care for Poser to begin with, all I ever get are waxy looking mannequins. On a good note however, the cloth room is nice and the dynamic hair is cool too. Now if I could only spend enough time in there to figure it out and actually make it do what I want it to. :-)
I just use the presets because trying to grow hair and get what you want is a pain.
I believe Eovia will eventually have a better system for all of it.. Cloth, Hair, Animation. Just a hunch really.
Maybe the cloth part could be in Hexagon 2. That might be the ticket.

It's been an on-going struggle with e-frontiers about their SDK for a long time. I think this is Eovia's reaction to what E-Frontier started by not supplying them what they needed.
In greater numbers, E-Frontiers is now missing on people that would have brought Poser to use that content in Carrara.
With greater support of Poser content, Eovia simply doesn't need another company's product while at the same time increasing its readily available models for purchase by many, many fold...brillent move, I think. I don't own Poser, but I do think it's clungy and burdensome to bounce between apps for each modification to a scene.
I haven't tested out the replication and particles (don't even know if C5 has static particles). But probably within the next version or two, cloth and hair/fur ability may be included directly into the program without the need of a plugin.
