Back Hey Greg, No , there is not symmetrical modeling in C5. The way I always model symmetrical objects is the following. 1. Start modeling one half of your object in the vm 2.go to assembly room, select your object and Duplicate with symmetry in the appropriate axis. 3.Align the duplicated object with the original object 4. Double click one of your objects to go to the modeling room. 5. A dialogue window pops up , choose "Edit the Master" 6. Now when you edit one of these 2 objects in the vm the other object gets updated . 7.In the vm make sure the Scene preview window is visible , this shows the 2 sides of our object. Start modeling in the vm room. 8 When you are done modeling , just duplicate the mesh in the vm and weld the 2 halves together.. 9. You just have to make sure the centerline of your model has been flattened or in the exactly the same plane by using the Move to drawing plane command before you weld.
Hope this helps
