HDR lighting using fractal flame

HDR lighting using fractal flame

Here is an interesting idea from a fractal group forum I belong to
(Apophysis) (its a free program to make fractal images)....
http://www.apophysis.org/index.html    (PC only I think)

By rendering several fractal images all the same except for brightness;
combining results in HDR shop or Photoshop CS2, one can create an HDR image
to do lighting in Carrara for a more supernatural effect or for a sci-fi
scene.

Just thought I'd share the good idea from Helen Triantafillou
[helentr@(protected)]

I have not tried it as yet but its worth trying on the right scene.

Or another idea is to mix a couple different images in the final HDR file so
you can get a superimposed image of something that does not exist.... like a
fractal merged with a normal sky....perhaps to imitate fireworks?
