I agree with you 100%, Tina.  I think that it could definitely be used
to fit certain broadcast and production house needs.  I have seen some
examples of Carrara being used in TV productions
[<http://www.eovia.com/solutions/user_projects/user_proj_cl.asp>], but
I do think there are probably other examples that may not be as
well-known.

So I do agree with that Carrara also should be seen as a tool for tv
and broadcast productions.

Cheers.

station in Northeast, PA this past week.  Well, it was very
interesting for me because I have never toured a television station
before and my professor's wife has a top level promotion job there
(don't remember her title).  Anyway the part I found most interesting
was the art dept.  and the programs they use.  Apparently they are
using 3D Studio Max and Softimage.  The paint program they are using
is Liberty Paint.  Well Softimage is losing their market share that we
know.  3D Studio Max I found interesting because I thought it was
mostly used in architectural renders.  I thought that Carrara should
try to tap into this market.  This television station is in a smaller
city (scranton, pa).  Anyway I thought I would share my experience
with you all.  What are your thoughts?  Thanks.
