Hello,
My answer from Eovia...

This is a known issue and should be fixed in the future releases of Carrara or
with the next
patch.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may bring you.

What you can do as a workaround is convert your model to a vertex object,
create a
shading domain and UV map it with the UV editor. You then would use parametric
mapping for adding your textures and export the finished model to OBJ format
which
should work without any problems.
