Back I think you have to do that in mapping. Tina
-- ---- ------ Original message -- ---- ------ Hello everyone! I am new to this forum, as well as Carrara. Please excuse my question(s), as they may seem novice! I am a commercial photographer of 23 years, shooting digitally for the last nine. I am currently doing some VR projects, merging photography with animation.
Here is my current problem: I have created a scene in Carrara of a cube spinning on a glass surface. On the faces of the cube I have put some photographic images. Now, I want to change the shape of the cube. I converted the cube to a Vertex Modeler, and changed it to the desired shape. But in doing so, it scewed the images on the sides. I was hoping the change in shape would not affect the image... simply "crop" the images to the new shape. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Hal
