But Dan, have you tried to decrease the hardware acceleration setting
on your video card, yet? Sometimes that works. Also, you may want to
update your driver to see if that makes a difference. I would suggest
that you try these two things first before making an extra purchase.
BTW, here are steps to adjust your hardware accleration if you are not
already familiar with it:
"General Tip: If you are having performance problems with either
Carrara Studio or AMAPI programs (e.g. - freezing or crashing on your
PC), try right-clicking on your Desktop, then go to Properties >
Settings > Advanced > Performance and try lowering your Graphics >
Hardware Acceleration setting one notch."
