there is a new 3.5 announcement.

The free updater will be coming in a few weeks if you already have 3.x
Of particular interest to 3D artists: particle brushes (optipustics) can
now also have decreasing size (shrinking lines) as well as draw into Alpha,
to generate perfect transparency masks for foliage that will be mapped as
