Back Hi, This is the first file I am uploading for criticism of the group. The bottle, cap & contents were done in the spline modeller, the ice cube was a cube in the vertex modeller, modified, copied and pasted from the assembly room into a new file that now contained all the bottle components, it was then duplicated and manipulated many times. I used Carrara's ice shader to colour it. One droplet was done in the vertex modeller and coloured with Carrara's water shader. It was duplicated, distorted, tilted and moved to various positions on the bottle. I created the labels in Illustrator, took them into Photoshop, where I saved them as JPEGs. The labels were then imported as maps into Carrara, using the rectangle mode for placement onto the bottle. I imported a JPEG map of some ice and placed it on a plane under the cubes for a background. The scene was rendered at high quality using caustics. It took some 21+ hours to complete at the same dimensions as uploaded at 300dpi the finished Photoshop file was 38.5 meg. I am using a G4 DP. Comments appreciated. Regards, David
