I don't see why not, I think the new version of basics will open .car
version 4 files and hex will save those.
It ought to work just fine I would think. I'm not sure about the rest, can
you open .obj files? That's usually what I export as.

Speaking of Hexagon, is Carrara Basics (version 1.0) compatible with Hexagon
? Like would I be able to import Hexagon objects into Basics ?
