Eovia is always extremely secretive about their major Carrara revision releases
. Their
product cycle in the past has been about 14 months, which puts the announce
date for
Carrara 5 around October 15, 2005 and the ship data around December 15, 2005.
But
things could be different now because recently a new CEO took over, and a new
product
like Hexagon has been developed (by a team in France which is different from
the team in
California) and is being marketed aggressively. There is also the new strategy
with the
standard and pro version. So all these new things could have changed the new
product
cycle. There are a lot of beta-testers that participate in this forum, but they
are also
extremely tight-lipped, I believe they are under NDA. My guess is that they are
currently
under beta-testing.
