In OS X, select the Carrara application and control-click the icon to make the
contextual
menu appear. Select "show package contents" from that menu and navigate to
MacOS ->
Data -> Plants.

Make sure Carrara is not running when you change package contents!

Note: if you created the settings yourself, they may be in (User) -> Documents
->Eovia ->
Carrara Pro 4 -> My Presets. Or when you're in the plant editing window, you
can click the
"Save" button and save that setting anywhere you want.
