Hi Ken,

It's easy. There is a text editor in which you type
what you want. You can then add bevels to the
front and back surfaces, change the thickness of
the letters and letter spacing. The only thing it's
lacking is the ability to control letter spacing for
individual characters.

Once you create the text object, you can colorize
it in any way you wish. Carrara preps the text so
you can have one color on the front face and another
on the sides, if you want. The text can be colorized
in the same manner as any other object in Carrara.

While it is wise to render your scene 2-3 times larger
than the final size to get really nice, clean edges, it
isn't necessary on all projects.

You can do this in two different ways: You can import
vector paths of the logo from Illustrator, CorelDraw and FreeHand
(saved in Illustrator format), extrude these paths to give
the logo thickness and then colorize it in any way you wish.
You can also create a 3D object and project a 2D image of
the logo onto that object. This is a fairly simple task once
you understand the basic concepts of the program.

So go ahead and buy it. This list is here to help if you get
stuck along the way.
