The top, bottom, left, right, front and back cameras are fixed in orientation, and can only be moved in or out on the axis. The director's camera and any conical camera you add (camera 1 default), are not fixed in position and can be moved anywhere.
You can put in a camera, select it in the view window, then set its position to the top, bottom, etc. camera and then move your camera from there.
If you wish a camera that is not affected by perspective, but is movable, then add an isometric camera, duplicate the required camera's position, and go from there.
