Back Try either a very fine noise on the bump channel of the glass or have a noise on the transparency setting. You will probablly also want to apply a (fake) fesnel effect to make the object less see through and viewed at an angle. The fake fesnel effect is part of the shaders ops plugin by DCG.
There isn't an exact means to make a transparent object that blurs what is seen through it in Carrara so these are unproven suggestions on how you can fake that effect.
