Hi, Bill.
If you look at what are the main additions to Poser 6 you will notice
that they are in the rendering department.
Features that are already available in Carrara4Pro. So after you take
those out what is left in Poser 6 that would make you want to
upgrade?
There a no new animation tools.
They added new models, OpenGL and they did some minor work on the UI.
But also remember that Poser 6 doesn't work with Transposer 2.
So should you keep your Poser 5 and spend your $99.99 getting some
extra plugins for Carrara I would say so.
That is my opinion.

I received an ad from E-Frontier offering Poser 6 for $99.99 for the
download version or $129.99 for the "Boxed" version.
As we all know Poser 6 has it's problems a specially without having
Transposer 3 for C4P but my question is "Is Poser
6 really worth getting over Poser 5?"
