Hi Eric,
It could be just me getting used to the new DGC site, but I am having
some difficulty navigating to Galleries and Tutorials for specific
plugins, such as Anything Grows. On the old site, this information
was separated onto specific pages (or links on a left Nav sidebar)
which made it very easy to locate. However, for some reason, when I
select the Gallery or Tutorial links, I am getting a mixture of all
the plugin images and tutorials and am having a hard time sifting
through them. Although they are identified as to which plugin they
belong to, I was specifically looking for a page link that contains
*only* image and/or tutorial information on Anything Grows to send to
someone. The way it is seems to be setup right now, I would have to
search out each tutorial and image link individually and send them
each link separately. Is there a link that I am missing at the new
site that only contains information for a specific plugin? If not,
could I make a suggestion? Without redoing the entire site, is there
as way to either;
1) add a search or sort engine to the site to pull up all
content pertaining to a specific plugin, or
2) have one text/html page set up at the site which simply lists all
plugin categories and underneath them, lists of links to their
specific information sub-categories such as gallery, tutorials, etc.?
That way, this category plugin page link could be emailed to people
looking for information on a specific plugin that they could easily
scroll down and click on to access the desired link that was needed.
I may be the only one having this problem with locating things at the
new site, but I was just thinking that a little information retrieval
assistance could really be helpful to certain users [ raising hand
high ;) ] as well as newcomers in finding specific information on the
site. :)
