Hi Bob, back when I was with Eovia I remember looking into this (Lulu)
about 2-3 years ago, I had seen their booth and quality products at
one of those smaller shows like FETC or Educause, yes I think it was
in Anaheim, so probably Educause (an educational show).  I recommended
to one of the Clappiers after what I had seen that we try them for
show supplies, I don't recall looking into books and manual printing
but it would be a worthy option to try if the quality is similar to
the calendars and other collecatbles.

As for books on demand there is a plethory of choices from publishers
who only do books. Dan Ritchie (author of Project Dogwaffle), uses
such a service for the printed option of his novel, Silver Squirrel. I
haven't seen it in print, but it's a cheap buy, so you might want  to
buy just one to see if his book on demand service company works well
and what the quality looks like, although note that he probably uses
paperback. Is that what you're interested in or hardcover?

his novel:  www.squirreldome.com
