You didn 't say how you constructed the sign.
I 'm assuming your sign is of the vacuum variety
where the words are right on the white plexi?
Are the graphics on the plexi a texture map?
If so, use a stark black and white texture map
of the same graphics in the glow channel to
make the plexi glow but the letters to remain
non-glowing. I don 't think anything glows will
work with this, but you can try it.
For this type of thing, I would probably create
the lettering for the sign in a vector drawing
program and import it into the Spline Modeler
to extrude them. Then I would place them just
a hair in front of the white plexi panel. That way
you can easily use different shaders on the
two separate objects. You could use anything
glows on the plexi and then also try the Aura
with it. That would give you a bit of extra pizzazz.
