Claudia,
I 've been unable to see the .jpg file on Yahoo (it refuses to open or
download...other of your .jpgs are fine)...but think I have the idea
OK and I did follow the 3dXtract tut OK.
Is it fair to assume, using the correct/matching "decal " and "matte "
files...that a partly transparent "decal " on partly
transparent "glass " will work OK? (i.e. see thru both...and thru a
partly transparent "liquid " inside the bottle)
I often see labels that have "clear " portions on a semi-transparent
plastic bottle....like a plastic bottle of dish soap.
I 'm also remembering true "decals " placed on plastic airplane models
where the "transparent " part of the decal can be seen because it is
physically there....and duplicating that effect in Carrara is
possible? ...just follow your tut? or are there any other "gotcha 's "?
