I'll look for the check box... Are you meaning while exporting? And
to what flavor. I tried VRML as well version 1.1 but after I get the
things I am doing right now done I want to see if version VRML 2 has
more options. Imported into, Strata 3D 3.9 perfectly... no leaves
though. :( I suppose that since (at the worst case..) I have a great
leaf texture set made for, Strata 3D 3.9, I can simply create
(painstakingly) all the leaves with texture maps to hold down polygon
counts since VW10.5.1 can deal with texture maps. I will have version
11 at the door on monday sometime and maybe that will hold pertinent
improvements to aide in the transition.
I too have a VW friend whom is interested in a few trees for a project
and that are mainly why I am trying real hard to get this worked out to
a satisfying degree for all concerned. Heck once I figure out a really
good method I can post a couple up at the, VectorDepot, for those
guys... they are in sore need of a few little items like that.
I'll pass along any positive feed back I wind up with.
