I think you have to check the little box in the lower right
of the Tree Modeler window ... I don't have Carrara
available to me right now so I can remember what that
checkbox is called; it's something like "render mesh".
Then, when you convert it, the leaves will be part of it.
Sorry I can't be more specific. It's been a while since
I had to do that.
I have a client who uses VectorWorks so if you have
any more tips for interplay between Carrara and VM,
I'd love to hear them. My client is a home builder and
we have discussed doing some combined projects.
