100% not allowed in Netscape 7 ? 2004-04-23 - By Becky Kinney
Back Dean,
You're a life-saver. When I replaced my header information with yours, the file started working in Netscape. The offending code was
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
I'm not even sure where it came from. Must have been either Flash or Dreamweaver that stuck it in there. I suppose that means the <object><embed> tag we're using isn't compliant to some standard or other, but fortunately, I don't have to worry about that here.
Thanks a million.
Becky
