Hi,
I had Transposer rush delivered last weekend as I had a project in Carrara
and I needed to import custom people and props I had in Poser.
Unfortunately I had spotty success with the import of the .pz3 file. I had
multiple instances of a prop in the original which had been rotated and
moved around and when it came into Carrara it was unrotated and at it's
original origin point (overlapped with the other instances). Similarly P4
and P5 characters came in at their original origin points standing with
arms outstretched (default Poser pose) - this even though they had been
posed with canned poses in Poser. Transposer seems to not preserve
translations and poses!! This sort of defeats the entire concept.... Unless
there is some preparatory protocol I am stupidly missing? Also the warning
in the Transposer documentation about some bitmaps not coming through is
accurate. This also occurred. However I was not able to interpret the
instruction to 'find the texture map in Poser' in any way that helped
Transposer carry the bitmap through to Carrara. These are not minor bugs.
Please tell me I'm doing something basically wrong and all will be well if
I just ...
