Why doesn't Eovia have it's own forum?
I find it odd that a company relies on some ones else's.
With respect to this yahoo group I've never liked using it much. It's far too
easy to spam and hard to find anything. For those who don't like to use it miss
out on official postings and it seems the carrara user community is left spread
across a number of different boards resulting in little traffic or content. I'm
sure they'd be such a great community if Eovia would set up an official
centralized bb on their site.
There's a good free one here http://www.phpbb.com/ that's easy to install and
is used a lot on the net with some great features. For those that like
receiving 20 + emails from this group a day you have the option of subscribing
a threads if you like.
If it's about bandwidth or storage space then http://www.Ezboard.com is a good
forum hosting solution.
