Back Claudia, Be sure to turn on Global Illumination in the Render room (under the Rendering tab). Also, you will get better results by turning off all ambient light (by selecting SCENE in the assemble room and sliding Ambient light to 0%). You may even want to delete the Light in your scene to have the HDRI as the only light source.
I rendered under your settings and got the same results you did. Without GI turned on the HDRI is only acting as background image and reflection map, not as a light source. Expect increased render time.
