www.vizualds.com might have some stuff. I think that the past few issues of 3DXtract might have something, too.
What you might want to look at might be the shaum's outline series on either trig, or solid geometry, or just perhaps geometry. You won't need the proofs, but the information should be decent.
Main thing, as I understand it, is to be able to write them in parametric form, which is *not* the familiar x, y, and z.
If you're having problems with the tutorial at vizualds (on strobes), I might be able to help.
