I own an educational version of carrara and I'm
interested in purchasing amapi 7 pro. I'm assuming
that you cannot use the educational versions for
commercial work but I would like to know for sure the
limitations of the educational versions. Another thing
is whether I can upgrade this educational versions to
commercial versions and how much does this cost.
I've found out that the way companies handle this
varies a lot. Adobe places no limitations on the usage
of their educational software so you can use it for
commercial purposes. Lightwave charges you $495 to
upgrade the educational version which is still a good
value since you can get a commercial lightwave license
for under a grand.
Does anyone have any information. I've looked through
eovia's site but there is no info on this.
