Back Hi Brian,
Okay, okay, please don't scream at me... ;) ...after reading your post and doing several attempts at lathing, I now know what my dilemma was. I was reading the word "edge" as "vertex" and was clicking away at the vertex instead of the adjacent edge. No wonder I got intermittent results...when I slipped down and clicked an edge "by mistake", THEN that's when it worked... So thanks for jarring my grey matter for me. :)
Now my other question is how to do the other vertex lathe technique with using the ctrl+alt+click on a *vertex* (turns yellow) when a straight polyline is used as an axis for a polygon. I've only done this a few times before and obviously forgot a step with this one as well. Whatever light on this that can be shed would be appreciated.
Thanks.
