Yes, ThinkFish was it! Thank you. I searched my old harddrives,
found the icon with the fish in the bowl, but still no name....

Although the company had licensed it's renderer to several
plug-ins, it now seems to have gone belly up. Pitty, I remember
some sample images being very good - one of a skelital T-Rex
in particular.

I'll give Toon a try, especially since it is much faster than the npr
renderer in Carrara.
