I have an Intel webcam Pro PC (I think that's the name of it.. it's old) that
has a composite video input so you can plug a VCR into the back of the webcam.
I used it to feed live TV broadcasts out through the Central Dev Chat app.  
So I know that works.. and the picture quality was quite nice.  So you might
look at using Central for this app?
