OT:TV in flash.... 2004-03-19 - By Josh Ettwein
Back Yeah, that's the name - I think I have the same one - sort of teardrop shaped, with svideo cnxn on the back? I was just pondering this last night. So, you've actually used it to stream live tv into Central? If that's the case, then in theory, you could create a multi-user, shared "tivo"ish system, where the flashcomm server has the live tv signal piped into it, and multiple users can connect to the stream and in fact, record streams. Anyone tried it yet?

I have an Intel webcam Pro PC (I think that's the name of it.. it's old) that has a composite video input so you can plug a VCR into the back of the webcam. I used it to feed live TV broadcasts out through the Central Dev Chat app.
So I know that works.. and the picture quality was quite nice. So you might look at using Central for this app?
